The Optima by Hatsan Speedfire 5.5mm air rifle is a state-of-the-art solution for recreational and sport shooting enthusiasts. This model features a multi-barrel RPM (Rapid Performance Mag) magazine, TruGlo fiber-optic sights, and a Vortex gas mainspring for smooth action and better accuracy.
Optima by Hatsan SpeedFire 5.5mm air rifle - advanced technology at an affordable price.
An additional advantage of the design is the ergonomic thumb-hole (TH) case, contoured for a firm grip, making it easier to aim. The 360mm precision threaded steel-core barrel is equipped with an integral suppressor, making it quiet and effective.
Optima air rifles are manufactured by the Hatsan brand with the same parameters and technological solutions.
Manufactured by the Turkish arms manufacturer Hatsan, windcheaters have been popular among Polish sports shooters for years thanks to the capabilities they provide within their price range. The Optima by Hatsan brand offers the same excellent cost/quality ratio, which is a direct result of the solutions used in the manufacturing process. The manufacturer's tremendous capabilities allow it to manufacture every part in a single factory, so the windguns are made from scratch under the watchful eye of Hatsan specialists.
Features of the Optima by Hatsan Speedfire 5.5mm air rifle:
- Barrel: Threaded, with integrated sound suppressor, made of high quality steel.
- The Stock: Ergonomic, made of polymer, with rubber inserts on the grip and a vented rubber foot to absorb recoil.
- RPM multi-barrel magazine: Quick-loading capability, capacity of 10 rounds (5.5mm).
- Modern Technologies:
- Quattro Trigger: Two-stage adjustable trigger mechanism (adjustment of pressure as well as trigger length). Allows you to individualize the trigger characteristics to the user's requirements, thus improving accuracy as well as ease of shooting.
- SaS™ (Shock Absorber System): Shock Absorber System, attenuates the recoil that occurs when firing spring-loaded rifles. SaS™ extends the life of the air rifle and reduces adverse effects on the mounted optical sight.
- Advanced Targeting Instruments: TruGlo - fiber-optic targeting instruments with contrasting fiberglass colors allow accurate shooting even in low light conditions. The open red bow-tie and green-colored pinniped are vertically and horizontally adjustable.
- Vortex Gas Piston®: This is a gas spring designed to drive spring-loaded windcheaters, providing smooth action, reduced recoil and improved accuracy.
- Manual/Automatic Fuse: The automaticfuse, located at the rear of the windshield cylinder, prevents accidental shots. Thanks to this location, operating the fuse with the thumb is extremely intuitive. To fire a shot, you need to deactivate the trigger lock by depressing the fuse - this mechanism automatically activates each time the spring is pulled.
- Scope Mounting Capability: Dual mounting rail compatible with optical sights thanks to 11mm and 22mm rails.
- EZ-Load Action System: quick loading and tensioning of the weapon.
- Specifications:
- Caliber: 5.5 mm.
- Overall length: 1243 mm.
- Barrel length: 360 mm.
- Starting energy: up to 17 J.
- Weight: 3600 g.
- The caseback: polymer.
Optima by Hatsan Speedfire 5.5 mm - a precision air rifle with a gas spring.
A recognizable feature of the Optima carbines is their high shooting energy, the fired shot easily pierces bottles, cans, boards or even thin pieces of sheet metal. Of course, they are also most suitable for target shooting, providing good focus and repeatability.
The carbine uses a Vortex gas spring, responsible for high operating culture, reduced recoil and better accuracy. The Vortex Gas Piston system is based on an air cylinder, which uses a gas mixture instead of a steel spring.
When the trigger is pressed, the compressed gas sets the piston in motion, which responds to compress the air and fire the shotgun. Vortex provides a stable initial velocity of the shotgun and a much longer life of the pneumatic system compared to the standard piston-spring system.
The effect most noticeable to the shooter, is the lower recoil and weight of the carbine, the reduction of vibrations and the sound of firing, as well as the reduced effort involved in stretching the barrel. Thanks to such properties, a carbine equipped with a Vortex spring is distinguished by smooth and comfortable operation, above-average precision and high operating culture.
Advantages of the Vortex Gas Piston system:
- Reduced vibration.
- Easier charging cycle.
- Higher precision of shots.
- Equalized initial velocity of each shot.
- Longer life of the pneumatic system.
- High efficiency at low temperatures.
- Reduced weight of the carbine.
Precision and long range of the Optima by Hatsan SpeedFire air rifle.
The 360mm threaded barrel is responsible for the accuracy and repeatability of shots, thanks to which we can achieve repeatable focus after just a short training. The fired shotgun reaches a high initial velocity of up to 200 m/s (~16 J), so we can also shoot accurately from the carbine at longer distances.
Safe use is the basis for successful shooting
In shooting, the most important thing is safety, so when the spring is pulled ("breaking the barrel"), the safety is automatically activated, which prevents the firing of an uncontrolled shot. Before firing, it is necessary to turn off the safety each time, which is conveniently located at the rear of the piston chamber. This affects the extremely easy unlocking of the carbine, which can be done even without interfering with the aiming process.
