A recognizable feature of Optima carbines is their high shooting energy, fired shotguns easily pierce bottles, cans, boards or even thin pieces of sheet metal. Of course, they are also most suitable for target shooting, providing good focus and repeatability.
The carbine uses a Vortex gas spring, responsible for high operating culture, reduced recoil and better accuracy. The Vortex Gas Piston system is based on an air cylinder, which uses a gas mixture instead of a steel spring.

In shooting, the most important thing is safety, so when the spring is pulled ("breaking the barrel"), the safety is automatically activated, which prevents the firing of an uncontrolled shot. Before firing, it is necessary to turn off the safety each time, which is conveniently located at the rear of the piston chamber.
