The B&T Print-X sound suppressor in a version adapted to the .223 Rem/5.55 mm NATO caliber is a sound moderator manufactured by the Swiss company Brügger & Thomet. It was made using the Inconel laser bonding technique and is designed for use with carbines and submachine guns. Such a solution eliminates the presence of welds, which can potentially be a critical point of the suppressor. What's more, the device does not require the use of gas regulators in weapons that are fed by discharging powder gases through a side hole in the barrel.
Features of the B&T Print-X sound suppressor:
- It is a device that moderates the sound level of a gunshot through the presence of powder gas expansion chambers.
- It was made with innovative Inconel laser bonding technology, thus eliminating issues.
- The suppressor is compatible with any system equipped with a HUB-type adapter.
- The Print-X series has a Bead-Blasted finish and an improved tip to reduce flash levels.
- It is equipped with a high-performance STAR-type internal baffle system manufactured by B&T.
Effective reduction of powder gas blasts
The low-pressure chamber used in the Print-X minimally affects the size and weight of the suppressor compared to conventional baffled designs. At the same time, it provides a reduction in noise and flash signature.
