The Slimline version ofthe B&T SRBS QDN sound suppressor is a sound moderator manufactured by Swiss company Brügger & Thomet. It was made using 3D printing and is designed for use with carbines and machine guns. The design is characterized by the presence of a low-pressure chamber, which expands a significant amount of powder gases and thus counteracts the backpressure phenomenon. What's more, this suppressor does not require the use of gas regulators in weapons that are fed by discharging powder gases through a side hole in the barrel.
Features of the B&T SRBS QDN sound suppressor:
- It is a device that moderates the sound level of a gunshot through the presence of powder gas expansion chambers.
- It is equipped with an innovative system that reduces the phenomenon of the so-called backflow of powder gases onto the shooter.
- The suppressor has a QND quick coupler, which works with B&T brand exhaust devices
- Does not require the use of a gas regulator, even with a short barrel.
- It is suitable for use with machine guns and carbines in .223 Remington caliber.
Effective reduction of powder gas blasts
The low-pressure chamber used in the SRBS QDN minimally affects the size and weight of the suppressor compared to conventional baffled designs. At the same time, it provides a reduction in noise and flash signature. The performance quality is comparable to the highly regarded B&T Rotex-V™ suppressors, making the RBS model an extremely effective solution.
