The Vanguard Exist is a functional EDC folding knife designed by Nick Serrano for the Kizer brand. The Drop Point profile head is made of Nitro-V stainless steel, enriched with nitrogen and vanadium, which increases its hardness, corrosion resistance and cutting edge durability. In addition, the blade has been coated with a black, anti-reflective PVD coating for increased protection from the elements.

Thanks to the use of ceramic ball bearings, the blade opens smoothly and precisely with a double-sided peg, which allows comfortable one-handed operation for both right- and left-handed people. The notched back of the blade provides stable support for the thumb, facilitating precise cuts. The unique Clutch Lock system, based on the Gemini mechanism, consists of two omega-shaped springs and five holes on both liners, giving as many as 25 options for adjusting the locking power to the user's preference. In addition, the manufacturer has taken care of easy removal of the liners, allowing quick adjustment of the mechanism.

The handle was made oftextured Micarta, which provides a secure grip and excellent grip even in difficult conditions. At its tip there is a hole for attaching a cord or key ring, and the whole is completed by a two-position clip, allowing the knife to be conveniently carried in a pocket or on equipment. The kit includes a microfiber cleaning cloth and a set of spare screws and springs.
