The principle of operation of the Bock ATA SP PRO
The operation of the rifle is based on a simple solution using two barrel chambers, into which the shooter directly loads single cartridges. It is therefore a non-automatic weapon. The same trigger is responsible for firing from one barrel and then the other . Its selective form makes it possible to fire from the first and then the second barrel on the next pull. Unloading of the weapon after opening is automatic thanks to the symmetrical ejector.
Safeties and manipulators
The shotgun has one type of safety features. It is a manual safety located behind the weapon's bascule. It can be easily operated by the shooter without taking his hand off the grip.
Aiming instruments in the SP PRO Competition shotgun
The ATA SP PRO has a fiber-optic musket at the end of the barrel and a cutout in the bascule, which acts as a residual pinniped for easier aiming.
