Steel used in the Civivi Lock Elementum
The knife uses Nitro-V stainless steel developed by New Jersey Steel Baron and based on AEB-L steel. It is characterized by high hardness (58-62HRC) and corrosion resistance. It is ideal for knives that require durability, especially in humid environments, including diving knives. It is also harder than powder steels like M390, Elmax and S35VN.
