Action mechanism

The notches for pulling back the lock are accentuated in the rear part. The advantage of such a solution is that the weapon can be operated without problems even by people with weaker hands like women or younger shooting adepts. The barrel is fixed, stationary which promotes accuracy.
Safeties and manipulators
The gun has two types of safety features. The primary one is an adjustable wing fuse located on the frame, just above the thumb. Its ergonomics are similar to those of the Colt M1911. The second is an internal firing pin lock. The magazine release button is integrated into the base of the bail. Just above it is located a lever dropping the lock from its rear position after the last shot.
Aiming instruments
The Ruger Mark IV has mechanical sighting instruments with adjustable sights. A 22mm Picantinny rail is also located on top of the frame . It allows the installation of additional recoil in the form of, for example, a small collimator.
Precision barrel
A thick-walled 4.4" long precision barrel was used here . It was made of stainless steel and equipped with relief cutouts.
