The body of the sight is made of aluminum. The matte finish protects the metal from oxidation and hardens its surface for scratch resistance. The collimator has a lightweight and durable design, weighing barely 15 grams, so it does not obscure the field of view. The lenses do not scratch and do not evaporate.
