Sometimes all it takes is a splash of color to make everyday life special. The Kershaw Misdirect Rainbow is a folding EDC knife that combines practicality with unfussy style. Born in the Starter Series line, this model was designed for users who appreciate simple, reliable tools, but don't want to give up aesthetics and a bit of flair.
It belongs to a budget series of knives with a modern design, made of easy-to-sharpen 4Cr14 steel and equipped with the SpeedSafe system responsible for assisting the opening of the blade.

Proven steel in the Kershaw Misdirect Rainbow knife
The 76 mm long blade is made of robust 4Cr14 steel hardened to 55-57 HRC. This Chinese stainless steel is characterized by high corrosion resistance, relatively short-lived sharpness, which, however, perfectly compensates for the ease and speed of sharpening.
Such properties of the steel make the Misdirect Rainbow 1365RBW intended for less demanding users and people who are new to the outdoors and the issue of edc.
Functional blade in Kershaw folder
The slim blade with a utilitarian Reverse Tanto profile has a striking aged BlackWash finish (black oxidation), which effectively masks minor scratches or abrasions to the blade from use.
Thanks to the use of a strong hilt, concave grind and a cutting edge with a gentle curve, the knife has good cutting properties, and the blade does not wedge in the material being cut.
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.9 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work. Transverse milling cutters made on the back of the wedge allow stable support of the fingers during work.
Convenient operation of the folding EDC knife
The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper, a solution convenient for both right- and left-handed users. This convenient method of opening the blade makes the use of the knife extremely convenient and easy.
Assist mechanism for unfolding the blade
The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe assist mechanism. When the flipper flipper is pressed or the peg is leveraged, the assist mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.
Robust locking mechanism guarantees safe operation
The monolithic Frame Lock, considered one of the most robust locking mechanisms, effectively protects against accidental folding of the blade. The lock, like the flipper and peg, can be operated with one hand.
A reliable lock is an important element calling for the functionality and safety of a folding knife.
Carry clip
Discreetly carrying the knife in your pocket is facilitated by a resilient clip that can be attached in 3 positions. The backspacer, protruding from the handle, has a clip for attaching a rope or paracord braid, which are very popular among many knife owners.
Style that goes with you
The comfortable steel handle fits well in the hand, and the Deep Carry clip with the same striking Rainbow PVD finish allows the knife to be carried comfortably and discreetly in your pocket - by both right- and left-handed people (the clip is reversible). The whole is complemented by a cord hole for additional security or personalization.
