The Zero Tolerance ZT 0044 is a versatile everyday knife that uses high-alloy CPM-S45VN stainless steel, contoured titanium liners and a convenient button lock.
Premium stainless steel
The 83mm-long blade is made of CPM-S45VN powder steel hardened to 59-61 HRC. CPM S45VN was introduced to the market by US-based Crucible Industries in 2019, and was created as a development of S35N steel improving its qualities in terms of greater corrosion resistance and increased strength. Thanks to its high chromium content and high amount of vanadium carbides, it has exceptionally good corrosion and wear resistance, and retains sharpness for a very long time.
When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient. The wide head with a usable drop-point profile has a matte stonewashed finish, which effectively masks scratches that occur during use of the knife. Thanks to the strong tip and flat grind, the blade penetrates perfectly and provides very good cutting properties.
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3.1 mm, this guarantees resistance to damage and allows for precise cutting. On the back of the blade are applied transverse cutters, which create a very stable place of support for the thumb or index finger.
Convenient unfolding with a flipper and button-lock button
The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper, a solution that is convenient for both right- and left-handed users. The Button Lock is a proven mechanism for securing the blade, which allows the knife to be folded and unfolded conveniently and quickly with one hand. Folding and unfolding the blade requires only the push of a button, the rest will be done for us by gravity and ceramic ball bearings, thanks to which the head runs smoothly and lightly.

The knife has contoured liners made of the highest quality material, i.e. titanium. Titanium is characterized by light weight, total resistance to corrosion, mechanical damage, is not sensitive to heat, acids and seawater.
Carrying the knife during daily activities is made possible by a high-set z-clip, which can be fixed in 2 positions, i.e. on the right or left side of the facings. We can use a spacer or a hole in the clip to attach the paracord braid.
