Product description

The Springfield Echelon Compact TB pistol in cal. 9x19 mm and a 4" barrel is an innovative short gun, which is distinguished by its revolutionary optics mounting system and modular design. It allows the user to mount more than 30 of the most popular collimator sights without the use of adapter plates. Under the grille plate is located the Echelon optics mounting system, which allows the user to properly configure the self-locking pins to achieve a low mount for a collimator sight.

Features of the Springfield Echelon Compact pistol:

  • Modular grip design allows the pistol to be properly sized to fit the shooter's hand.
  • The optics mounting system allows the attachment of collimators without the use of an additional adapter plate.
  • The breech has protrusions and bumps that allow comfortable operation even with tactical gloves.
  • The trigger with low resistance and short travel facilitates precise shooting.
  • The manufacturer used aggressive stippling, which is distributed over most of the contact surface between the fingers and the gun.
  • The gun is equipped with targeting instruments, which include a pinniped and a musket with bright spots.
  • The gun has manipulators adapted for both left-handed and right-handed shooters (lock and magazine latch).
  • In order to increase the comfort of handling the weapon with tactical gloves, the gun has been equipped with an enlarged trigger holster.
  • Under the barrel there is a 22mm rail for attaching additional shooting accessories like a flashlight or laser pointer.

The design of the Springfield Echelon guarantees comfortable handling of the weapon

The lock on the Springfield Echelon has three different contact surfaces that make handling and manipulating the weapon easy, making reloading and checking the weapon's loading status extremely simple. In addition to the classic notches on the front and rear areas of the breech, you will also find wings at the end of the breech. The Springfield Echelon is a reliable and versatile pistol that meets the highest quality standards. Its solid construction and customization options make it an ideal choice for any shooter who expects the highest standards from a gun.

Operating principle of the Springfield Echelon pistol

The Springfield Echelon is a modern design adapted to 9x19 mm centerfire ammunition. The high energy of the cartridge forced the use of bolt action here. The principle of operation of the gun is based on short barrel recoil with its locking by vertical recoil (modified Browning system). A shell ejection window serves as the locking resistance. A strong return spring further reduces the sensation of recoil acting on the shooter.

Modular frame of the Springfield Echelon Compact pistol

The pistol is equipped with a modular Central Operating Group (COG). It is an insert, which is a separate component of the skeleton, which is fully self-sufficient and numbered thanks to which the user gains the possibility to transfer it, for example, to a skeleton of a different color. This form is fullycompliant with the Polish Law on Arms and Ammunition. Thanks to it, the skeleton can be changed at will, as it is not an essential part of the weapon. The weapon comes standard with a medium-sized module and three pieces of interchangeable backstraps.

Precision trigger on the Springfield Echelon Compact pistol

The pistol uses a single-action trigger with an exclusive partial self-trigger was made of high-quality, polished steel and features a clearly perceptible break and a short, positive reset.

High level of safety with the Echelon Compact gun

The gun has no external manial safety features. Instead, it is equipped with an automatic trigger fuse, integrated into the trigger tongue. It prevents accidental firing in a situation when the gun is dropped. The second safety feature is an internal firing pin lock that prevents the firing of a cartridge without pulling the trigger.

Targeting instruments and the possibility of installing a collimator

The Springfield Echelon has fixed, mechanical sighting instruments in the form of a musket and a scimitar with 3 bright dots to facilitate folding in the shot. In addition, there is an Echelon mounting system on the lock. It allows installation of the following models of collimators: RMSc Shield, J-Point, Trijicon MS03/MS04 and Leupold Delta Point.
