The Gomander Hunter 8.0 OB Generation II suppressor for hunting rifles is an effective shot sound suppression device, attaching directly to the barrel (Over Barrel). It has been created specifically for use with hunting weapons, where it reduces the fouling of game. The suppressor is made of lightweight aircraft aluminum, which translates into low weight and good thermal conductivity(faster cooling). Additional coating of the silencer's surface with Cerakote protective coating provides protection against the adverse effects of the acidic environment created by gunpowder residues. Most important in the design is a system that reduces the return of powder gases back into the cartridge chamber and towards the shooter. This also makes the suppressor easy to clean. The model is black in color and is adapted to 15x1 thread.

The Gomander Hunter Gen. 2 suppressor decided to use aluminum construction for its light weight and high mechanical strength. Thanks to its low weight, it does not overload the weapon, which contributes to the comfort of use and makes it easier to aim. It is also resistant to corrosion, especially when coated with a special Cerakote protective coating, which increases its durability under acidic conditions of weapon carbonization. In addition, aluminum is excellent at dissipating heat, which helps the suppressor cool quickly after heavy use, minimizing the risk of overheating.
