Mechanism of operation of the carbine
The Regent RBA-1 .22 LR is a repeating carbine based on a 4-barrel (slide-turn) lock. Reloading is done by manually inserting, firing and extracting the cartridge after each shot. A notch in the carbine's stock serves as the bolt resistance. The striking mechanism is of the needle type.
Targeting instruments in the carbine
The carbine is not equipped with mechanical sighting instruments at the factory. In their place, a universal 11mm rail or an additionally screwed-in 22mm Picatinny rail are installed. Both types of mounting ensure maximum compatibility with many target scopes. In addition, a 1/2"-20 UNF standard thread at the end of the barrel allows mounting a sound moderating device.
