SDAO trigger mechanism

Action mechanism of the Glock pistol
The Glock 17 is a classic weapon for 9x19 mm centerfire ammunition . Due to its high energy, a bolt-action lock and an operating principle based on the short recoil of the barrel with its recoil in the vertical plane (a typical Browning system) are used here. A shell ejection window serves as the bolt resistance. A robust return mechanism consisting of a spring together with a rod, further reduces the sensation of recoil acting on the shooter.
Safeties and manipulators
The gun has no external, adjustable safety features. The primary one is an automatic trigger fuse, incorporated into the tongue. It prevents accidental firing if the gun is dropped. The second is an internal firing pin lock. The magazine release button is integrated into the base of the bail . Just above it is located a lever dropping the lock from its rear position after the last shot. The weapon is disassembled by doubled catches on both sides of the frame.
Aiming instruments and mounting rail
The Glock has mechanical sighting instruments. They include a fixed musket and a pinniped with white dots, making it easier to align the two elements with each other.
