The A-Tec AR 40-4 Gen.2 QD-Lock sound suppressor is one of A-Tec's latest designs from its professional series of discharge devices, dedicated to assault weapons and hunting rifles. The device is equipped with a reinforced construction, suitable for continuous and single-fire shooting. The suppressor is made entirely of stainless steel, which makes it suitable for use in harsh field conditions. The A-Tex suppressor efficiently lowers the sound of firing, and noticeably reduces recoil. The AR 40-4 has a non-removable design finished with a Cerakote coating in black. The moderator installs on the barrel's discharge device with a Quick Detechable mount.

Suppressor designed specifically for carbines
The suppressor was designed and tested to work on weapons with barrels from 10.5" for .223 Rem. According to the manufacturer, the suppressor allows firing 1 magazine with continuous fire or 2 magazines with rapid single fire. During testing of the A-Tec AR suppressor, more than 5 magazines were safely fired with continuous fire. It should be noted that the suppressor is non-removable! Disassembling it yourself may void the warranty.
