Krupon is only 45% of the surface area of the entire ox hide, located along the back on both sides of the spine. Unlike the less strong skin on the sides, the skin on the nape is stretchy and covered with scrambles (striations). Thanks to the process of vegetable tanning, the leather has an intense depth of color and a velvety texture that is pleasant to the touch.
