TheBeretta PX4 Storm Compact Carry in 9 × 19 mm caliber is a compact semi-automatic pistol, which is an evolution of the Beretta Cougar model. The main change from that model is the presence of a polymer frame and the futuristic look of the pistol. Interestingly, the profile of the grip and the overall shape of the pistol was designed by GIUGIARO DESIGN , a company that has created vehicle designs for Audi, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari, among others . The featured version has an SA/DA trigger mechanism with an adjustable wing fuse located on the breech. The equipment also includes targeting instruments with contrasting dots and a 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. Interestingly, the gun has a rare locking mechanism by rotating the barrel, and the disassembly process resembles that used in Glock pistols. The version has a lock and skeleton in black.

Mechanism of operation of the pistol
The pistol is a weapon for 9 × 19 mm centerfire ammunition. It uses a bolt-action lock and an operating principle based on a short barrel recoil with its locking by rotation (a system similar to that used in the Steyr Hanh). The barrel has a single locking protrusion that cooperates with the shell ejection window. The bolt that controls the locking process corresponds to a properly shaped insert inside the weapon's frame. A characteristic feature of such a solution is the noticeably reduced recoil, which has been distributed over time.
Safeties and manipulators of the weapon
The gun is equipped with two safety features. The primary one is an adjustable wing fuse on the breech, which also serves as a Decocker . An additional one is an internal firing pin lock. An enlarged magazine latch button has been integrated into the base of the breech and can be adjusted for left- and right-handed shooters. Just above it is located a lever that drops the lock from its rear position after the last shot. To unfold the weapon, there are whiskers duplicated on both sides of the frame.
