Ergonomic stock
In the Diana carbine, a polymeric washer was used. The shape of the butt and its length were developed with a view to shooting in a recumbent stance with the use of a buttstock, so the carbine will be perfect for the mini sniper competition. The ergonomic flask with a symmetrical cheek piece provides comfortable composition for right- and left-handed shooters.
The pistol grip and the front of the bed have been textured to increase the grip of the weapon.
Adjustable trigger mechanism
The carbine has a cold-forged barrel (med bull) with a length of 495 mm, which ensures high repeatability and precision shooting. The barrel is shielded by a striking carbon fiber coating. At the end of the barrel there is a 1/2 "UNF male thread that allows mounting a compensator or sound suppressor.
The Diana R-22 has a single-stage trigger mechanism with weight adjustment from 0.9 to 1.3 kg.
The enlarged breech lever has a lowered angle, which ensures smooth and comfortable reloading. A manual safety located behind the breech is used to secure the weapon. The carbine has two Picatinny accessory rails for mounting an optical sight and a bipod.
The weapon is powered by a removable magazine with a capacity of 10 cartridges.
