Mechanism of operation of the windcheater
Prymex is a single-shot spring-driven windcheater. The design is based on the tension with the barrel after each shot is fired ("barrel break"). This action tightens the internal piston, which is responsible for compressing the air that imparts velocity to the shotgun. The carbine is adapted to a variety of Diabolo type shot in 4.5 mm caliber.

The most important thing in shooting is safety, so when the piston spring is tightened, the safety is automatically activated, which prevents the firing of an uncontrolled shot. Before firing, it is necessary to disengage the safety each time, which is located inside the trigger bail. This affects the extremely easy unlocking of the carbine, which can be done even without interfering with the aiming process.
