The Umarex NOTOS Carbine Set PCP air rifle is a modern air rifle in 4.5mm caliber, the principle of which is based on compressed air from a PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) type cylinder. It is equipped with features that are ideal for sport and precision shooting. The carbine throws pellets at speeds of up to 213 m/s (700 FPS). The carbine version allows shooters to adjust the length of the flask for a customized fit. At the same time, when the flask is fully folded, the air rifle still maintains compact dimensions. It uses a 66 cm³ cylinder , filled to a pressure of 250 bar, allowing up to 40 shots with a single fill. It is also equipped with a regulator set to 131 bar, which ensures 21 shots with a repeatable and optimal velocity. In addition, a removable, auto-indexing magazine for 7 shotgun shells allows for fast shooting and efficient reloading, and an included insert allows the windgun to be converted to a single-shot. The UX Notos is suitable not only for recreational and sport shooting, but also for pest control.

Mechanism of operation of the windcheater
NOTOS is a gas-powered multi-shot windcheater. The design is based on compressed air pushing out the shotgun, thanks to a pre-filled cylinder located under the barrel. It works on a similar principle to CO2 cap-driven air rifles, but in this case the pressure and capacity of the cylinder is much higher. In addition, such a solution made it possible to shoot in self-repeating mode. After finishing shooting, the cylinder must be reloaded using a compressor or a special pump.
The polymeric stock in the UX NOTOS
The distinguishing feature of the presented model is a polymeric stock with a minimalist design. The flask is equipped with a comfortable rubber foot and length adjustment in several ranges. The comfortable and wide pistol grip expands downward, so there is no risk of your hand slipping. In addition, it is covered with a non-slip texture. The air rifle does not have a front bed, the compressed air container serves as such.
Mounting rail for optics
The NOTOS carbine does not have any factory-installed form of sighting instruments. Instead, a 22mm Picantinny standard rail is placed on the piston chamber and barrel. It allows the installation of a target scope or any collimator sight (scope is included).
Intuitive safety features
The air rifle is equipped with an adjustable slide safety, located inside the polymer trigger tongue. Such a solution significantly speeds up the preparation for shooting and is intuitive even for novice shooters.
