The KMR L-02 Spectra Optics Ready pistol with a 5" barrel in 9 x 19 mm caliber is a full-size self-revolving pistol, structurally based on CZ brand pistols. The weapon is equipped with an all-metal frame and lock and slightly improved ergonomics, adapted to today's standards. The pistol is a weapon with a cocked shock mechanism, operating in single and double action (DA/SA) modes. The breech guides are located inside the frame and along its entire length, resulting in smoother operation. Aggressive stippling on the grip and liners prevents the gun from shifting in the hand and increases control when firing. Distinctive sighting instruments with fiber-optic points for easy alignment speed up accurate doublets. A feature of the gun is that it is equipped with a series of relief cutouts on the breech. The model comes in black.

Targeting Instruments

The Spectra pistol is equipped with high and adjustable mechanical sighting instruments (a fiber-optic musket and scimitar). In addition, the pistol is equipped with a plate for mounting a small collimator (Optic Ready) and a 22mm Picantinny mounting rail.

Action mechanism

The pistol is powered by 9 x19 mm ammunition . Due to the high energy, a proven solution was used here in the form of a short recoil of the barrel and the lock locked by its skewing in the vertical plane and additionally supported by a return spring. The notches for the breech pull are wide and applied also on the front, which facilitates the use of the so-called "press check,,,.

Safeties and manipulators

The gun has two types of essential safety features. The primary one is a double-sided wing fuse located on the frame, just above the thumb. It has ergonomics similar to the M1911 pistol. The second is an internal firing pin lock. An enlarged magazine release button is integrated into the base of the bail . Right next to it is located a wide breech drop lever from the rear position after the last shot.

Magazine and grip

The KMR Spectra pistol has a metal magazine slipped into the grip with a capacity of 16+1 rounds. The ergonomically angled grip is covered with interchangeable stippling pads .
