Principle of operation of the shotgun

Locking is carried out by rotating the breech with symmetrical bolts that correspond to the drag on the barrel's cartridge chamber extension.

The SXP Defender shotgun has one safety feature. It is a manual cocking safety located inside the breech, in the form of a button. It can be easily operated by the shooter without taking his hand off the grip.
