The principle of operation of the Mauser Omega AK-47 carbine
This is a classic self-repeating carbine, based on a free-floating lock. Locking is carried out by the previous weight of the lock and the force of the return spring. Such a system is simple and reliable, plus easy to clean and maintain. It also ensures reliability for the variety of ammunition used.
Magazine used in the carbine
The all-metal magazine holds 24 rounds of 5.6 x 16 mm R (.22 LR) caliber side-firing ammunition. It is equipped with a special cutout on the side, making it easy to pull back the donor and load the ammunition.
Trigger mechanism and safety features
The AK47 Omega carbine is equipped with an SA (Single Action) trigger mechanism and a safety in the form of a large switch located on the left side of the breech (identical to the AK47).
