The H&K USP Expert pistol cal. 11.43 x 23 mm (.45 ACP) is an upgraded version of the iconic and universal German pistol (Universale Selbstladepistole - USP), which has become a permanent fixture in the consciousness of the shooting community. The presented version is equipped with a long and precise barrel of 5.5" (13.97 cm), which slightly increased the bullet's exit velocity. Along its entire length is a lock with rear notches for easy reloading of the weapon. The gun is also equipped with a funnel for easy magazine insertion and expressive targeting instruments. Due to the manual adjustment of the barrel to the design, the gun transmits the vibrations generated during firing in a minimal way, thus providing increased precision. Due to the use of a polymer frame, the H&K USP Expert is also lightweight. Ergonomically placed manipulators make the pistol dedicated mainly to IPSC competitors and for other sports shooting disciplines.

Mechanism of the gun's operation
The HK USP is a classic weapon for .45 ACP centerfire ammunition. Due to its high energy, it uses a massive lock and an operating principle based on short barrel recoil with its locking by vertical recoil (typical Browning system). A shell ejection window serves as the locking resistance. A strong return spring further reduces the sensation of recoil acting on the shooter.
All-polymer and lightweight frame
Like most modern service pistols, the HK USP Expert has a skeleton made of lightweight and durable polymer. It therefore does not pose too much of a burden in all-day use. A proper grip profile with aggressive texturing guarantees a secure grip even in a wet or greasy hand. The generous funnel, on the other hand, will allow easier insertion of the magazine into the slot.
Pistol manipulators and safety features
Both the magazine release and the fuse/decocker lever have a double-sided design for convenient operation by left-handed or weaker-handed people. A long breech drop lever allows for convenient one-handed operation should the need arise, as does a lever magazine release integrated into the breech, easily accessible to both thumb and forefinger.
