The Sauer 100 Classic repeating rifle in .30-06 Winchester caliber (7.62 x 63 mm) is an affordable hunting rifle designed by the Swiss company Sauer. It features an elegant and ergonomic beechwood stock and an adjustable trigger from 1,000-2,000 grams, so it can be easily adjusted to the shooter's preference. Operating principle of the Sauer 100 rifle
Sauer 100 is a classic repeating rifle, based on a slide-turn lock (4-barrel). Locking is carried out through 3 symmetrically located bolts, corresponding to the locking resistance in the barrel. Such a system is simple and reliable, in addition to being easy to clean and maintain. It also ensures high firing accuracy and withstands various pressures of the ammunition used.
Safeties and manipulators
The rifle has two types of safeties. The primary one is a slide safety located on the right side of the breech chamber. It can be easily operated by the shooter without taking his hand off the grip. The second safety is a locking device that prevents the shooter from firing when the breech is not cocked.
Targeting instruments
The rifle does not use any form of mechanical sighting instruments at the factory. Instead, the rifle is equipped with the possibility of installing any form of optics, thanks to 2 mounting screw holes for mountinglunettes or 22mm rails.
