The A-Tec 40-3 gen.2 suppressor in 5.56x45 mm (.223 Remington)caliber belongs to the professional series of discharge devices dedicated to assault rifles. The second-generation A-Tec 40-3 is a suppressor with a reinforced design, suitable for intensive continuous-fire shooting . The suppressor is made entirely of steel, which makes it durable and can be used in harsh field conditions . It efficiently lowers the sound of firing, and noticeably reduces recoil. The design of the moderator is non-removable and coated with Cerakote protective layer.

Robust design
The suppressor was designed and tested to work on carbines with barrels of 16" and longer. During testing of the A-Tec AR suppressor, more than 5 magazines were safely fired with continuous fire. The A-Tec AR 40-3 is a 150 mm long suppressor, weighing 355 g.
