The Vector Optics Minotaur 12-60 × 60 Gen. II MFL SFP spotting scope is a precision optical spotting scope equipped with a wide-range magnification and a large 60mm objective lens. It features a VEMP-LR-type target reticle made of etched glass and placed in the second focal plane. The red illumination of the reticle offers eleven levels of brightness, including one adapted for use with night vision. The scope's tube is black in color .
Features of the Vector Optics Minotaur Gen. II MFL SFP spotting scope:
- It has an adjustable magnification from 12x to 60x and a 60mm objective lens.
- The scope's 34mm-wide tube is made of lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum.
- Turrets with 1/8 MOA clique value and Zero-Stop reset function to initial settings.
- The optics are equipped with FMC coatings for high transmission and a clear image.
- It is equipped with a VEMP-LR sighting reticle with illumination in 11 levels (including night vision).
- The interior of the tube is filled with nitrogen to prevent glass evaporation.
- The aiming mark has been placed in the second focal plane.
VEMP-LR target reticle with illumination
The scope is equipped with a VEMP-LR sighting reticle, made by etching on glass, which has been placed in the second focal plane. Illumination of the reticle is carried out at 10 levels of brightness and a single additional one and designed for night vision work. Turret adjustment is done in 1/8 MOA increments per click, with an adjustment range of 40 MOA vertically and horizontally. The Zero-Stop function allows for quick restoration to initial values.
Rugged and lightweight 6061 T-6 aluminum barrel
The scope uses a 34mm 6061 T-6 aluminum tube, which ensures high compatibility with a wide range of available mounts. It meets the IPX-4 (water splash) waterproofing standard, and nitrogen filling protects the lenses from internal evaporation. In addition, the scope is resistant to shocks of up to 1,000 G, which guarantees reliable performance with powerful ammunition. A single CR2032 lozenge-style battery is used to power the illumination .
