The Rock River RBG rifle is a repeating sporting rifle with a 4-barrel lock and 24" barrel and adapted to.308 Winchester caliber (7.62 × 51 mm). The weapon was designed with long-range shooting in mind . It features a heavy and precise self-supporting barrel made of stainless steel. The thread pitch is 1:10", which ensures good stabilization of a wide range of bullets available on the market. The rifle is equipped with a lightweight polymer bed with pistol grip and a skeletonized buttstock with fully adjustable footplate and cheekpiece. Importantly, the buttstock can be removed for transporting the weapon. The breech chamber and lock were manufactured at Bighorn Arms, a company that prides itself on producing high quality gun parts. The model has a stock made in black.

Interchangeable breech face on the Rock River RBG rifle
The rifle uses a Remington lock with an interchangeable breech face. Unlike the design of the Remington 700, in the RBG rifle it was designed relatively innovatively. It is a component , which allows the lock to be quickly adapted to ammunition of different calibers. What's more, its design with a resilient washer between the bolts allows a minimum tolerance of the so-called stopping distance. This key solution ensures precise and secure seating of the cartridge in the chamber, thus eliminating the risk of problems associated with both loose and too tight locking. The whole is completed by a customized extractor claw.
Mechanism of operation of the rifle
The RRA RBG is a classic repeating rifle, based on a slide-turn (4-barrel) lock. Locking is carried out through symmetrically located bolts, corresponding to the locking resistance in the barrel's cartridge chamber. Such a system is simple and reliable, plus easy to clean and maintain. It also ensures high precision shooting and withstands the various pressures of the ammunition used.
Precision stainless steel barrel
The RBG rifle is equipped with a heavy stainless steel barrel supplied by Wilson Arms Company, a leading manufacturer with more than fifty years of experience. The barrel is cryogenically treated, which reduces stresses in the steel and significantly improves accuracy and shooting stability.
Safeties and manipulators
The rifle has two types of safeties. The primary one is a lever-operated safety located just behind the breech. It can be easily operated by the shooter without taking his hand off the grip. The second safety is a lock that prevents the shooter from firing when the breech is not cocked. The reloading lever has an enlarged head so as to improve the process of firing fast shots.
RBG rifle mounting rail
The rifle uses a 22mm Picantinny mounting rail on the breech chamber, which offers the possibility to install any form of optics or a collimator or a scope and magnifier set.
