Pro Secur Bear Defender is a pepper gas with a capacity of as much as 225 ml. This amount of OC irritant allows you to repel even large animals, including bears, which we can meet while hiking in the Tatra Mountains and Bieszczady Mountains.
The thrower, through a conical nozzle, ejects a stream of pepper gas at a distance of about 10 m, so we can defend ourselves against the animal from a safe distance.
Thanks to its dense consistency, the gas is not very susceptible to gusts of wind. The wide jet allows us to cover a larger area speeding up the time for the gas to react.
The gas in the form of a jet is more precise than a cloud, has a longer range, covers the skin better, and can be used in open or confined spaces such as a room, or hallway.
Instant action
The active ingredient of the blaster is a 10% solution of OC (oleoresin capsicum) with a 2% addition of MC (Major Capsaicinoids) with a sharpness as high as 2 million SHU.
Pepper gas is an effective incapacitating agent that works on both animals and humans. OC acts on the attacker almost instantly. It causes severe burning of the skin, watering of the eyes and irritation of the respiratory tract.
An aggressor treated with the gas has a reduced ability to perceive, experiences shortness of breath and intense burning of the skin. All these factors cause temporary disorientation, during which he is unable to take coordinated action.
The average duration of the gas is up to 45 minutes, allowing us to move away safely and call for help. Walther Pro Secur Bear Defender is effective against wild animals, people under the influence of alcohol, drugs and other intoxicants.
Security
Use of the blaster is simple and instinctive, requiring no permission or training, but it is worthwhile to familiarize yourself with its use beforehand. In a threatening situation, aim the thrower at the animal or the attacker's face and press the trigger lever.
Accidental activation of the thrower is prevented by a retractable lock, which must be pulled out before you plan to use the gas.
