The Benchmade Infidel 3300BK is a large OTF (out of front) automatic knife, designed for uniformed services and everyday use.
Tactical head
The knife has a slim dagger profile head, made of hard D2 tool steel hardened to 60-62 HRC. D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel, which features high abrasion resistance, long retention of working sharpness and aggressive cutting.
When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
The blade has two cutting edges and an aggressive hilt, so it penetrates easily and has good cutting properties. The blade is coated with black Teflon, which partially protects the blade from scratches and corrosion and emphasizes the tactical nature of the knife.
Instant unfolding
The blade is unfolded by sliding the mottled slider forward, folding only requires reversing the slider in the opposite direction. The button has deep milling, so the knife can also be operated with gloves.
Reliable and safe
The blade is ejected and folded only after the slider is fully moved in a controlled manner, so the knife is safe to use and carry. The whole process is instantaneous and, most importantly, safe. Because when the blade is unfolded, it is locked in as many as 3 places.
Ergonomic handle
The comfort and ease of handling the knife is ensured by a solid handle made of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. The grip has a profiled shape, its surface has been milled, which guarantees excellent grip to the hand and prevents the knife from slipping.
TheBenchmade Infidel 3300BK has a high-set clip compatible with the Molle system (with the possibility of transferring it to the other side), making it easy to discreetly carry the knife in a pocket and attach it to a belt or backpack. It also comes with a Velcro-locking nylon pouch.
