TheMorakniv Bushcraft SRT is a rugged outdoor knife featuring a partially serrated Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade, a comfortable contoured handle and a polymer sheath with clip.
The Bushcraft SRT is a camp knife with a fixed head (hidden-tang) with a thickness of 3.2 mm and a length of 109 mm, which allows it to perform most of the tasks we may face during a hike or being in the woods.
The blade is partially serrated, allowing efficient cutting of hard and fibrous materials such as roots, ropes and belts. The serrations were applied close to the handle, allowing us to work with a smooth and serrated cutting edge at the same time.
The head of the knife is made of the highly regarded Sandvik 12C27 steel hardened between 56-58 HRC. This Swedish stainless steel features low impurities, high corrosion and chipping resistance, and a fine carbide structure for very aggressive and efficient cutting and cutting edge strength.
The entire head has been coated with a DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) protective coating. This wear-resistant coating, which has properties similar to diamond, increases wear and corrosion resistance, reduces friction and imparts higher cutting smoothness.
Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel is virtually maintenance-free and does not require maintenance beyond wiping dry after washing or use in humid environments.
TheScandinavian grind guarantees high durability, long maintenance of working sharpness and easy sharpening in field conditions.
The flat back of the blade has a sharp edge, designed to work with a flint.
The knife's handle is made of soft TPE rubber with a non-slip texture. The grip has an anatomical shape with a pronounced finger undercut and a small hilt to protect your hand from slipping on the blade.
For carrying the Morakniv Bushcraft SRT, you get a polymer sheath with an open design. A clip integrated into the sheath allows you to quickly attach the knife to your belt, backpack or bag.
