Morakniv Bushcraft orange stainless steel is a rugged outdoor knife, featuring a Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade, a comfortable contoured handle and a polymer sheath with clip.
An outdoor tool
The BushcraftBushcraft is a camp knife with a fixed head (hidden-tang) of 2.5mm thick and 109mm long, allowing it to handle most tasks we may face while hiking, fishing or camping.
Swedish stainless steel
The knife's head is made of the prized Sandvik 12C27 steel, which, thanks to hardening with liquid nitrogen at -80 °, achieves HRC hardness of 57-58 on the Rockwell scale.
The Swedish stainless steel is characterized by low impurities, high resistance to corrosion and chipping. Thanks to the fine carbide structure, the blade provides aggressive and smooth cutting and good sharpness retention.
Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel is virtually maintenance-free and does not require maintenance beyond wiping dry after washing or use in humid environments.
Precision grinding
The knife employs a modified Scandinavian grind, which is lowered from the middle of the blade. As a result, the cutting edge has two cutting zones: for heavy and precision work. The blade tapers from the middle, creating a strong and sharp hilt with good penetration.
Theflat back of the wedge has a sharp edge, designed to work with a flintlock.
Comfortable handle
The knife's handle is made of soft TPE rubber with a non-slip texture. The grip has an anatomical shape with a pronounced finger undercut and a small hilt to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade.
The handle and sheath have a bright orange color scheme that makes it easy to quickly locate the knife among the grass and stones.
Safe carrying
For carrying the Morakniv Bushcraft, you get a polymer sheath with an open design. A detachable clip allows you to carry the knife at your belt or attach it with trousers to a backpack or bag.
