Lansky LSS8CM Sharpener

TheLansky LSS8CM is an 800-grit ceramic bar sharpener for kitchen and hunting knives, designed to quickly improve sharpness.

The design of the sharpener is based on a ceramic sharpening rod (made of alumina) with a fine 800 gradation and a comfortable wooden handle. Sharpening with a sharpening rod is based on dragging the entire cutting edge along the sharpening rod (from the base to the tip) with the same number of repetitions for both sides of the blade.

Unlike standard bar whetstones made of steel, the alumina rod sharpens faster and less invasively, so it only takes a few precise strokes to restore the high sharpness of our favorite "kitchen knife" or hunting knife.
