TheKizer Feist Ki3499 is a minimalist everyday knife designed by Justin Lundquist, an enthusiast of traditional craftsmanship and an experienced knifemaker.
The head, with a utilitarian drop-pointprofile, is made of CPM-S35VN powder stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to this new variety of steel, the straight cutting edge maintains a high working sharpness for a very long time and at the same time sharpens quite easily.
Due to the nature of the CPM S35VN, we recommend using diamond sharpeners for sharpening. The everyday character of the knife is emphasized by the high concave cut, which is a compromise between the durability of the blade and its high cutting properties. The blade has a matte stonewash finish.
For smooth and very dynamic unfolding of the blade, ball bearings and a front flipper, conveniently operated by the thumb, are responsible. When unfolded, the blade is securely locked by a monolithic frame-lock, which has a steel reinforcing insert. This type of lock is characterized by high durability, resistance to dirt and very comfortable operation.
The simple, minimalist facings are made using precision CNC machine tools, from lightweight and extremely hard titanium, thus ensuring high durability and a striking knife design.
There is a clip at the end of the tang, allowing the knife to be conveniently carried in a pocket.
