Nikwax NI-01 is a high-quality impregnant for leather and fabric, which, in addition to giving the material waterproof properties, also provides high vapor permeability.
The product is designed to impregnate any type of footwear made of leather and fabric, i.e. outdoor, casual and sports footwear.
Nikwax can be used for footwear with breathable membranes such as GoreTex, Sympatex, eVent. The pretreatment should be applied to new and used footwear. Before cleaning footwear and after waterproofing, it is recommended to apply Nikwax Fotwear Cleaning Gel to footwear.
Note: For light colored footwear leather, it is best to apply the product to a less visible area, such as the tongue. Footwear treated with the impregnant should not be dried in the immediate vicinity of a fire or heater.
