TheWalther CP99 Compact 4.5 mm Blowback BB CO2 is a CO2 air rifle for recreational shooting, equipped with a metal lock, an accessory rail and a realistic blow-back system.
The Walther CP99 Compact 4.5 mm Blowback BB CO2 is a faithful air replica of the German non-chicken Walther P99 pistol, which is also the primary pistol of the Polish Police.
Realistic design
The air rifle is characterized by excellent fit and finish construction, in which we can distinguish the heavy metal lock (movable and polymer frame, referring to the construction of the original.
Like the original, the pistol has an enlarged breech, a magazine latch lever on both sides, a skeleton with an accessory rail, a metal magazine that slides out of the handle and a contoured grip.
Thepistol's grip has contoured finger cutouts and fine non-slip texturing identical to the texture of firearm linings. The above-mentioned solutions make the airgun fit very well and comfortably in almost any hand.
The Walther CP99 Compact 4.5 mm Blowback BB CO2 has classic fixed-set sighting instruments, recommended for precision shooting and learning to shoot.
The pistol's lock is ribbed at the rear for easy reloading. All gun and militaria enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the airgun bears the licensed markings of the manufacturer Walther.
High shooting dynamics
The air rifle is powered by a 12gCO2 capsule, mounted in the pistol's grip. The compressed carbon dioxide gives the fired BB's a velocity of up to 90 m/s and allows accurate shooting at a distance of about 20 m.
A good quality CO2 cartridge allows you to fire about 60 aligned shots. The number of shots also depends on the air temperature, shooting dynamics and proper maintenance of the airgun. It is also important to remember that aCO2 capsule (punctured) can be left in the windgun for a maximum of 48 hours.
After this time, the capsule must be removed or "shot". Installation and replacement of the capsule are very simple, requiring only the removal of the rear lining, inserting the capsule into the handle and tightening it with the pressure screw.
Powerful blow-back recoil
TheCO2 power supply has made it possible to use a powerful blow-back system, which is responsible for the realistic recoil when the shot is fired. The effective and perceptible "kick" of the airgun makes us have an irresistible impression of shooting a firearm.
After firing all BB's from the magazine, the lock remains in the rear position. Replacing the magazine, reloading and the process of firing the shot also allude to the mechanics of a firearm. Such functionality guarantees great fun while allowing you to learn to shoot safely.
Steel BB's shot
The metal magazine, which slides out of the handle, holds 18 BB's 4.46 mm shot, which are best suited for recreational shooting at reactive targets, cans, bottles, etc.
The magazine feeder can be locked in the lower position, this allows for gravity loading of shotgun shells directly from the container.
Thanks to the double-sided lever of the magazine latch, its release is convenient for both right- and left-handed users, and it does not require a tinkering grip.
Unlike lead shot, BB'S do not deform even under pressure, so they can be safely loaded into high-capacity magazines.
DAO trigger mechanism
The air rifle uses a DAO (double action only) trigger mechanism , which allows shooting with self-trigger only.
The advantage of this solution is, first of all, simple and instinctive operation, which makes the CP99 Compact 4.5mm Blowback BB CO2 air rifle great for those beginning their adventure with air shooting.
When carrying or storing, the trigger mechanism can be locked with an external fuse located on the right side of the frame.
