TheRuike Hussar M121-TZ is a utility folder in an upgraded version, equipped with a CPM-S35VN steel blade, bearing, double-locking and lightweight titanium liners.
The Ruike Hussar M121-TZ is a knife from the new premium series, in which the manufacturer uses premium materials.
The knife has a 92mm long blade, made of CPM-S35VN powder steel. This grade of stainless steel is characterized by high impact strength (hardening 58-60 HRC), wear and corrosion resistance, and long retention of working sharpness.
Also unlike its predecessor (CPM- S30V), CPM- S35VN is much easier to sharpen due to its finer grain and admixture of niobium. However, due to the nature of CPM-S35VN steel, we recommend using a diamond whetstone for sharpening.
The slender head with a slightly raised tip has a flat grind and a gently curved blade, which provide very good cutting characteristics.
The blade can be instantly unfolded with one hand thanks to a flipper and ball bearings, made of special high-carbon chrome-plated steel characterized by high hardness, wear resistance and high fatigue strength.
This ensures very smooth, light operation of the blade and great comfort of use. Up to two locks, a monolithic frame lock and an additional Beta Plus mechanism, which protects against accidental folding of the blade and prevents excessive swing of the framelock bar, are responsible for the safety of operation.
The knife owes its light weight of 110 grams to the use of titanium liners with a geometric profile. To carry the Ruike M121-TZ discreetly in your pocket, there is a blue anodized clip (non-transferable).
A rope or braided paracord can be attached to the spacer.
