The Kershaw Camp 10 1077 machete is a very handy tool for field work, featuring a wide carbon steel head and a comfortable rubberized handle.
Durable carbon steel
The machete's blade is made from a single piece of tool-grade 65Mncarbon steel (full-tang construction), which features high hardness and wear resistance, making it ideal for overcoming off-road obstacles, chopping, grubbing and other field work.
Carbon steel has a lower resistance to rusting, so the surface of the blade is coated with an anti-corrosive powder coating.
For field work
The drop-point profile blade is the optimal solution in a tool designed for heavy tasks. The center of gravity of the blade has been slightly shifted forward, as a result of which the hand tires less during work, and the cutting itself is very efficient.
The flat grind is not only durable, it also has good cutting properties, and it does not wedge in the material when chopping and cutting.
Sturdy handle
A contoured handle, made of rubberized plastic with a non-slip texture, isresponsible for the comfort of work and a stable grip. At the end of the handle there is a hole for weaving in a safety cord. The double-sided hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Safe carrying
A sturdy injection-molded polymer sheath is included. The adjustable belt loop and side nylon straps allow the machete to be carried stably on the thigh. A press-fit design of the sheath protects the tool from slipping out or getting lost.
