Construction
TheGrayl GeoPress consists of 4 components: a sturdy outer container, a carbon filter, a clean water container and a lid with a mouthpiece for drinking and venting. To facilitate the process of pressing the filter, the sides of the lid are wider and covered with non-slip rubber. The capacity of the bottle is 710 ml.
The bottle is made of durable plastic free of harmful bisphenol, resistant to weather conditions, temperature and mechanical damage (a fall on concrete from 3 m). This design ensures safe and long-lasting use.
Thanks to the SimpleVent Cap system, the mouthpiece is protected from contamination and germs. Transport of the bottle is facilitated by a sturdy clip, allowing the filter to be attached to a backpack or carried in the hand. The bottle easily fits into any backpack and also fits into a car cup holder.
Simple operation
At the heart of the Grayl GeoPress purifier is an advancedactivated carbon filter responsible for the ion exchange process. As a result, dirty water is softened, purified, iron and manganese levels are reduced, and the taste of water is also improved thanks to the active carbon.
Use of the filter is simple and instinctive. After filling the external container with water, place the module consisting of the filter, the container for clean water and the lid. Purification of water is done by mechanical method, it simply requires pushing the entire module to the bottom of the container.
The purified water collected in the translucent container is ready for consumption immediately after filtration. Thoughtful design ensures that contaminated or untreated water never seeps into the container with clean water.
