Product description

Replacement purification cartridge with a capacity of 250 l dedicated to the Grayl GeoPress filter bottle.

Fitr designed for Grayl GeoPress filter bottles. In just 60 seconds we can purify as much as 2000 ml of water taken anywhere on earth.

Removes 99.99% of viruses

The Grayl GeoPress filter removes pathogens from water, i.e. viruses, rota viruses, bacteria, parasitic protozoa, pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals, and micro plastics. The filter also improves the taste, smell and clarity of the water, removing sediment, silt and other impurities.

Using Grayl GeoPress, we can protect ourselves from viral hepatitis, salmonella, dysentery, cholera and other deadly diseases.

Purifies, softens and improves taste

At the heart of Grayl purification systems is an advanced activated carbon filter responsible for the ion exchange process. As a result, dirty water is softened, purified, iron and manganese levels are reduced, and taste is also improved thanks to the use of activated carbon.

Unlike ordinary mechanical filtration, the Grayl filter uses electroabsorbent components capable of removing submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants.

During the "pressing of water", electroheating and ion exchange processes take place, which create an effective submicron trap for pathogens (viruses, bacteria and parasitic protozoa).

The filter consists of multiple layers of finely powdered activated carbon, responsible for trapping toxins, i.e. chemicals and heavy metals. The filter also contains zeolites with silver ions, which are natural antimicrobial agents responsible for inhibiting the growth of bacteria and improving the taste of water.

Service life

Thelife of the carbon filter is 250 liters (about 350 uses) or 3 years from the first use. Water with a high content of silt, sediment and tannins can reduce the performance and life of the filter.

At the end of the service life, the filtration time may increase to 25-30 seconds, however, still providing effective protection against pathogens compacted in dirty water.
