TheGlock 17 gen 5 is a superb asg replica, with a powerful blow-back system, all-metal lock and manual operation compatible with firearms.
Faithful reproduction of the Glock 17 gen 5
Like the combat version, the Glock 17 replica has a metal lock and a polymer frame. The pistol's lock is made of metal alloy, so the weight of the replica is similar to the weapon. The front of the skeleton features a short Picatinny mounting rail, allowing the use of additional shooting accessories such as a laser target pointer or flashlight. Licensed Glock company markings, as well as the pistol's serial number, are applied to the lock and the frame. A simple, classic grip without finger profiling, provides better control of the weapon to any shooter regardless of hand size.
Theoperation of the moving parts (magazine latch, breech drop lever on both sides, trigger with safety), and manual operation are identical to the real Glock 17. The dimensions of the replica are consistent with the original, so standard firearm holsters, i.e. Safariland or Blackhawk, can be used to carry the pistol.
Powerful recoil
The replica shoots 6 mm bullets, which we load into a metal magazine that extends from the handle. We also mount a 12gCO2 capsule in the magazine. Installation of the capsule is simple and quick. Using an allen wrench, we remove the screw, insert the capsule and tighten the screw to a perceptible resistance. This form of power supply allowed the use of a powerful blow-back system, which is responsible for the realistic recoil of the breech after firing.
The strong "kick" of the breech makes us have an irresistible impression of shooting a firearm. One cap allows you to fire up to 60 shots with a leveled initial velocity of 360 fps, which is a good result for a replica with a metal moving lock. The number of shots fired depends mainly on the air temperature and the dynamics with which you shoot. The replica uses a hop-up system, responsible for the accuracy and range of the shot.
Trigger mechanism
The Glock 17 gen 5 has a DAO trigger mechanism with a trigger fuse, which forces the correct positions of the finger on the trigger tongue in order to fire a shot. This solution is implemented from the Safe Action mechanism used in the Glock series.
Metal magazine
The pistol is powered by a metal magazine with a capacity of 14 rounds. The grip outlet has been widened, which makes it easier and faster to change the magazine.
Targeting instruments
The pistol uses fixed sighting instruments, i.e. a musket with a white dot and a frame-mounted scimitar. Contrasting markings speed up the ripping of the instruments, and also allow shooting in low or residual light.
Adjustable fuse
In addition to the trigger fuse, the gun uses an additional fuse, located in the front of the frame.
