TheRuike M195 is a full-size rescue knife that features a partially serrated D2 carbon steel blade, contoured G10 laminate facings, and typical rescue tools in the form of a seatbelt cutting blade and an emergency glass breaker.
Premium carbon steel
The 108mm-long blade is made of hard D2 tool steel hardened to 60-61 HRC. D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel and features high abrasion resistance, long retention of working sharpness and aggressive cutting.
The head is finished with a stonewash technique (abrasive stone bath), which masks minor scratches and gives a modern look.
When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
Functional blade
With a massive drop-point blade of 4.56 mm, the knife will not let you down during rescue operations and ordinary daily work. Thanks to the use of a strong hilt, concave grind and clearly rounded cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties, and its sharpening does not pose a problem.
To increase the functionality of the knife, the back of the cutting edge is serrated. The combo blade is particularly useful when cutting hard and fibrous materials such as belts, ropes and webbing.
Comfort of use
The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand using an elliptical cutout in the head. This solution is convenient for both right- and left-handed people and allows you to operate the knife also with gloves.
Double blade lock
Up to two locks, a monolithic frame lock and an additional Beta Plus mechanism, which protects against accidental folding of the blade and prevents excessive swing of the framelock bar, are responsible for the safety of work.
Ergonomic grip
The knife's facings are made of G-10 laminate and stainless steel (framelock). The wide grip, contoured finger cutouts and fine texturing make the knife perfectly stable and comfortable in the hand.
Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a high-set clip, with the possibility of attachment in 2 positions (right/left).
Rescue accessories
Theknife is equipped with professional rescue tools in the form of a glass breaker (tungsten carbide tip) and a multifunctional chisel that allows quick cutting of clothing, safety belts and rope.
To carry the knife there is a nylon pouch, which is marked with yellow inserts for better visibility.
