TheWek Machine Real Hunter is an electric can sealer designed for hunters, sailors, preppers and those looking for a quick and efficient way to create long-term food.

Food preservation to extend shelf life was pioneered by Nicolar Appert in 1831, who was the first to use glass jars and the pasteurization process.

Nearly 200 years later, this method of food preservation is still practiced, and most of us regularly buy canned foods in the form of canned meat, fish, fruit, sauces, etc.

In many homes, cans are a strategic food supply, and because of their long shelf life and durability, they are used by the military, survivalists, sailors and tourists.

Nowadays, we also pay more attention to diet and the quality of the food we eat, trying to choose wholesome products with natural ingredients, free of artificial additives and harmful preservatives.

TheReal Hunter wek machine is an electric canning sealer that is used to make your own canned food based on your own recipes, ingredients and preferences. Wek machine allows you to preserve meat, fish, dishes, fruits and vegetables.

This allows us to pasteurize excess food, create a stockpile of our favorite dishes and safely store food.

Sturdy and precise

Thewek machine has a sturdy and stable structure, manufactured using precision cnc lathes. The headstock and double-bearing rollers are made of galvanized steel, resistant to corrosion and wear.

The unit is coated with a durable powder paint finish that is resistant to heat, moisture, oil and cleaning agents. Depending on the production batch, the device may have a different color than that shown in the photo.

The design features the following components: polymer base, electric motor, closing head, clamping lever, head lowering lever and main switch. The power of the device is 500 W.

Simple preparation

Each Wek machine is professionally calibrated (checking the quality of the can seam with an optical comparator), so we can start producing home cans immediately after purchase.

The first step before producing canned food is to sanitize the cans. We can do this by boiling the can in hot water or soaking it in a 2% solution of peroxide.

We put the prepared insert according to our own recipe into the dry can, in such a way that the filling level is about 1 cm below the edge of the can. Clean the edges of the can with a paper towel, then cover the can with a lid.

Quick home production

Theadvantages that distinguish the Wek machine are, first of all, the ease, convenience and speed of closing the cans. After preparing the cans in advance (filling the insert), we are able to seal up to 200 cans per hour.

The filled can is placed on a rotating base. With the help of a lever we lower and press the head. When the device is turned on, the base with the can is set into a spinning motion.

The can is closed in one smooth motion using the lever located on the left side of the device. Closure may be accompanied by a characteristic squeal, which indicates that the entire process is correct.

Sterilization of cans

The element that has the greatest impact on the shelf life of prepared canned food is, of course, proper pasteurization. Properly preserved food can be stored for up to several years, the canned food retains its full flavor and is free of bacteria.

The most popular and simple method that we can carry out at home is, of course, tyndalization. This process involves boiling canned food 3 times (every 24 hours).

Already in the first cooking most of the bacteria, responsible for food spoilage, are killed. In the second stage we destroy the bacteria that survived, after the third stage the food is practically sterile.

On the first day of tyndalization, we cook the canned food for 3 hours, on the second day for 2 hours, on the third day for 1 hour. After each cooking, the canned food should be tempered by placing it in cold water. In the process, it is important to keep 24 h intervals and to temper the cans after cooking.

After this process, the canned food can be stored for up to 5 years without refrigeration.

NOTE: Depending on the production batch, the device may have a different color than that shown in the photo. In addition, it may or may not have a safety switch. The sealer is shipped randomly, regardless of the color or the presence of the switch.
