Leupold BX-5 Santiam HD 10x42 is a lightweight binocular with prisms in a roof system. Theadvantage of this layout is primarily the smaller size and weight of the binoculars, which affects the comfort and ease of carrying.
With 8× magnification, an aperture of 42 and a field of view of 114/1000 m, the binoculars are perfect for hunting, outdoor observation, walking and hiking, and sporting events.
Extendable eyecups and a large exit pupil distance allow people wearing corrective lenses to observe comfortably. The binoculars have a sensitive focusing mechanism, allowing smooth and precise image adjustment.
The binoculars have diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece, used to compensate for differences in the vision of the right and left eyes.
