The socks are made of a thick yarn (63% Merino wool, 29% polyamide, 3% elastane) with a looser weave, thus providing ventilation, efficient moisture wicking, high insulation against the cold and natural temperature regulation.
Merino wool is soft and durable, "does not bite the skin", perfectly regulates body temperature, also has antibacterial properties, so it does not develop bacteria responsible for odor. Merino absorbs moisture, then keeps it away, so even when wet the socks will continue to provide warmth.
