TheHeckler & Koch MP5 K is a blowback gas replica, distinguished by its high starting velocity, good shooting performance and compact size for convenient carrying.
The replica's design is based on the German MP5 K-PDW submachine gun (shortened version), which is used on a daily basis by special units of police, border guards and government security personnel, among others.
As in the original, the body, flask and grip are made of durable polymer. However, the key elements of the pistol, i.e. the inner barrel, trigger mechanism,CO2 valve, belt clip and magazine, are metal.
The pistol is distinguished by its compact and lightweight design, weighing just 1,635 grams, so it will be perfect for short-range gameplay and as a "backup weapon."
Thanks to the metal clip, a single-point tactical belt can also be attached to the gun. Also borrowed from the original MP5 are a detachable flame suppressor and a bed with an integrated vertical grip.
The MP5 pistol has mechanical sighting instruments in the form of a fixed bow tie and a sighted-in sights. The winged safety has been located in the same place as in the original. This allows convenient locking of the trigger mechanism without changing the grip.
Energy up to 2.5 J
The MP5 K replica is powered by a 12gCO2 capsule, which is mounted in the rear of the body (under a detachable flap). The compressed carbon dioxide gives the fired BB's balls an energy of up to 2.5 J, which allows accurate shooting at a distance of about 20-25 m.
A brandedCO2 cartridge allows you to fire about 80 aligned shots. The number of shots depends mainly on the air temperature, shooting dynamics and proper valve maintenance.
It should also be remembered that aCO2 capsule (punctured) can be left in the replica for a maximum of 48 hours. After this time, the used capsule must be removed or "fired". Installation and replacement of the capsule are simple and do not require any tools.
After unscrewing the pressure screw, 2 pins must be ejected and the rear plate must be removed.
"Blow back" recoil system
The feature that distinguishes the H&K Heckler&Koch MP5 K replica is the gas blow-back system. Its operation causes the lock to vigorously retract after firing, mimicking the lock mechanics and recoil of a firearm.
Such functionality increases the satisfaction of use and provides a lot of excitement while shooting.
The MP5 K pistol shoots single-fire only. However, thanks to the use of a magazine with a capacity of 30 BB pellets and an easy-to-learn trigger mechanism, the shooter can achieve a rapid firing rate of up to 180 shots per minute after just a short training.
Low-cap magazine
The metal magazine holds 30 BB's 6mm pellets. The magazine feeder can be locked in the low-cap position, allowing gravity loading of the balls directly from the container.
The magazine latch lever has been placed directly in front of the magazine, so detaching and replacing the magazine is convenient for both right- and left-handed users.
