The shotgun is made of thick steel plate, coated with black powder paint to protect it from corrosion. The front walls of the shotgun have a slanted layout, which prevents BB's from ricocheting off the steel shot and allows for effective retention of leftover lead shot, so that it is stored inside the steel box.
