Damage-resistant
The Elite Force EF 710 has a full tang (so-called full bolt) construction. This term is used to describe knives whose head and handle shank are made of a single piece of steel. Knives of such construction are characterized by high strength and resistance to damage, which is why they are usually used for heavy work by, among others, survivalists, bushcraft enthusiasts, soldiers and hunters. The knife has a wide 86mm long blade, made of tough 440C stainless steel, which is straightforwardly an ideal choice for an outdoor knife. The steel used is resistant to corrosion and wear, stays sharp for quite a long time and sharpens easily.
The recurve drop-point profile head with concave grind has good cutting properties and high resistance to damage. On the back of the blade there is a milled ramp (jimping) that allows a stable rest for the thumb or forefinger during planing, or precision cutting. The blade is protected by a black Teflon coating, which emphasizes the tactical style of the knife.
Comfortable handle
The molded polymer liners have finger cutouts and fine mottling for a secure and comfortable grip on the knife. A hole in the handle can be used to weave in a rope or braided paracord. The knife can be conveniently carried on the belt in a nylon sheath, included in the set.
