TheKandar N38 is a folding rescue knife featuring a 420 stainless steel blade, molded aluminum facings, a seatbelt cutting blade and an emergency glass breaker.
Corrosion-resistant steel
The 90mm-long blade is made of the popular 440 stainless steel. A blade made of such will be perfect for everyday use, due to its resistance to corrosion and ease of sharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is completely sufficient.
Functional drop-point blade
The drop-point blade with a thickness of 2 mm means that the knife will not let you down during everyday work. Thanks to the strong hilt, concave grind and clearly rounded cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties. The blade is coated with a layer of black oxide, which partially protects the blade from scratches and gives it a modern look.
Blade locks when unfolded
The blade can be easily unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper, a solution that is convenient for right- and left-handed users. Once unfolded, the blade is securely locked with a liner-lock mechanism. The steel locking bar provides a high level of safety, and its operation is very intuitive and convenient. A reliable lock is an important element calling for the functionality and safety of the folding knife.
Comfortable grip
The knife has textured aluminum facings in rescue colors, decorated with a star of life motif. The wide grip, deep index finger undercut and fine texturing make the knife secure and comfortable in the hand. Discreetly carrying the knife in a pocket is made possible by a high-set clip (non-transferable).
Rescue extras
The knife is equipped with additional rescue tools in the form of a glass breaker (steel tip) and a multifunctional chisel that allows quick cutting of clothing, seat belts and rope.
